Websites for tattoo studios, salons and beauty businesses
People choose you by what they see. Your website should show your work at its best, load fast on a phone, and make it simple to ask for an appointment.
Your work is the sales pitch
If you do tattoos, hair, nails, lashes, piercings or skincare, customers have already made up their mind about you by the time they message. They decide from your photos, your style and how easy you seem to deal with. So the site has to look like you, not like a template.
- A gallery that is fast on a phone. Big, sharp photos of your work that open quickly, even on a bad signal.
- A look that is yours. We design around your style: dark and moody, soft and light, or loud and colourful.
- A clear price list. People like knowing roughly what something costs before they ask.
- Answers to the questions you always get, like how to prepare, how long it takes, and what happens afterwards.
Booking requests that land on your phone
You can't answer the phone with a needle in your hand or a client in the chair. A short form lets the customer tell you what they want, and the message goes straight to your phone, so you can reply between clients. You decide who you book and when. You aren't tied to a monthly booking-software bill either.
Edit it yourself
Prices change, gallery photos get old and you take on new styles. A private, password-protected page lets you change prices, photos and text yourself, in a few minutes, from your phone.
What we've done
We built the website for Oyya Body Art, a tattoo and piercing lounge in Thetford. It began as a printed poster. It's now a site with a gold logo that turns in 3D, a steamed-up mirror visitors wipe clear, booking requests that ping her phone and a private page where she changes her own prices and gallery. On mobile it scored 97 or more on Google's speed test.
You don't need all that. A good salon site can be calm and simple. The point is that it's built around you.
What it costs
Most studios and salons choose Song, from £1,850, which includes booking requests and the page where you edit your own details. A smart one-page Chirp site from £495 is a good start if you're only getting going.
- Chirpfrom £495A one-page site. Quick to build, quick to love.
- Trillfrom £1,250Up to 6 pages: home, about, services, gallery, contact.
- Songfrom £1,850A booking website: customers ask for a slot, you get it on your phone.
- Dawn Chorusfrom £3,450Everything in Song, plus a logo and mini brand kit, and we write the words.
Our promise: you see a real design of your homepage before we build anything. If you don't love it, you don't pay. We only ask for the deposit after you've said yes to the design.
You pay half once you've approved your homepage design and half when your site is live, or split it into three monthly payments. There are no monthly bills, and the website, the web address and everything on it belong to you. Most sites go live in 2 to 4 weeks, and we make any small tweaks free for 30 days after launch.
Questions people ask
Can customers book a time directly?
On our booking sites, customers send a booking request with the details you need, and it arrives on your phone. You reply and confirm. This keeps you in charge of your diary.
Can I add new photos myself?
Yes. With the edit-it-yourself page you add photos to your gallery, change prices and update text from your phone.
Will it look like everyone else's?
No. We don't use templates. We design your homepage around your style and show it to you before building. If you don't love it, you don't pay.
How long does it take?
A one-page site takes about a week. Most sites go live in 2 to 4 weeks, depending on how quickly we get your photos and words.
