A tattoo studio website from a printed poster: Oyya Body Art

Oyya Body Art is a tattoo and piercing lounge in Thetford. All she had was a printed poster. We turned it into a website that looks like her studio and takes booking requests straight to her phone.

The problem

A tattoo studio sells a feeling before it sells anything else. People look at the work, decide whether they trust you, and only then ask about a booking. Oyya's brand was a printed poster on the wall: striking in the room, but invisible to anyone searching on their phone.

She needed a website that felt like walking into her lounge, that made it easy to ask for an appointment, and that she could keep up to date herself without paying someone every time a price changed.

What we built

Oyya Body Art website on a laptop: a gold 3D logo on black marble
The Oyya Body Art homepage.
Oyya Body Art website on a phone
The same site on a phone.
  • The poster, rebuilt as a gold logo that turns in 3D. It is the first thing you see, and it looks like real gold on black marble.
  • A steamed-up mirror. Visitors wipe it clear with a finger or a thumb. It's a small touch that gives people a reason to look around, and it fits a lounge.
  • Booking requests that ping her phone. A customer fills in a short form and she gets the message straight away, so nothing waits in an inbox she forgot to check.
  • A private page for her. It sits behind a password, and it is where she changes her own prices, gallery and text.
  • A fast site. It scored 97 or more on Google's speed test on mobile, so it opens quickly on a phone with weak signal.

What the owner can now do

  • Change a price, add a photo to the gallery or edit her text from her phone in a few minutes.
  • Get booking requests on her phone, with the details she needs to reply.
  • Send people to one address that shows the work, the prices and how to get in touch.

She owns the site, the domain name and the content, and there are no monthly platform bills.

Want something like it for your studio?

The core of this, a good-looking site with a booking request form and a page where you edit your own prices, is our Song package, from £1,850. If you only need a smart one-page site with a contact form, Chirp starts at £495. Extras such as the 3D logo are priced after we talk.

Our promise: you see a real design of your homepage before we build anything. If you don't love it, you don't pay. We only ask for the deposit after you've said yes to the design.

You pay half once you've approved your homepage design and half when your site is live, or split it into three monthly payments. There are no monthly bills, and the website, the web address and everything on it belong to you. Most sites go live in 2 to 4 weeks, and we make any small tweaks free for 30 days after launch.
