A garage website with online booking: JJ Motors Company
JJ Motors Company has been a garage in Thetford since 2012, with 5-star reviews. We built the website that lets customers book, ask for quotes and get MOT reminders, all without picking up the phone.
The problem
A busy garage lives on the phone. Customers ring while the mechanic has his hands under a car. Some ring when the garage is shut and then give up. Others want a price for tyres or welding and don't want to wait for a call back.
The garage already had a good name in Thetford: 5-star reviews and customers who come back. What it needed was a website that did the phone work for it, and that could speak to Portuguese-speaking customers in their own language.
What we built
- Online booking by registration number. A customer types their reg, picks a service and picks a day that has space. The garage gets the booking by email.
- Quote requests for tyres, welding, bodywork and remaps, for the jobs that are hard to price without a few details.
- MOT reminder emails. Customers who ask for them get a nudge before the MOT runs out. The garage does the prep and takes the car for its MOT, and the site says so plainly.
- Workshop videos. Short clips of real jobs, which the garage adds itself.
- English and Portuguese. The whole site works in both languages, and a customer can switch at any time.
What the owner can now do
- Change his own prices and opening hours from his phone, with no calls to us and no waiting.
- Add a new workshop video when he's done a job he's proud of.
- Wake up to booking requests in his inbox instead of missed calls on his phone.
- Point a Portuguese-speaking customer to a site that speaks their language.
The garage owns the site, the domain name and the content. There is no monthly platform bill to pay for the booking.
